Eleanor Roosevelt, in You Learn by Living, 1960 stated; “Surely, in the light of history, it is more intelligent to hope rather than to fear, to try rather than not to try. For one thing We know beyond all doubt: Nothing has ever been achieved by the person who says, “It can’t be done.” The Power Women’s event is an evening filled with women who have gone against the statement “it can’t be done” The gala showcases can do women, from all walks of life helping, giving and working to make their communities great places to live, work, play and learn. These women show what the power of women can do and have broken barriers for those that will come after us. Power Women working together to make a stronger, sustainable world, needed more now than ever.

As we navigate global and nationwide challenges, Moves Power Women's mission to advocate for social fairness and equal opportunities is as important as ever. As a 2018 alumnae, I am proud to further these initiatives and push the Huntington Learning Center community forward with like minded values at the forefront of our efforts. I appreciate the support, network and professionalism Moves Power Women provides and know that we will persevere together.

Being named a Power Woman was a highlight of my career as general counsel. From the honor of being selected, to the fun of being styled and professionally photographed, to the beautiful awards gala with so many powerful and accomplished women gathered in one place. The entire experience was a beautiful mixture of female empowerment and celebrating self-care.

Being named a Power Woman was one of the highest honors I have received. It was an amazing experience to stand alongside so many well-respected, powerful women leaders who are making a difference in today’s society. Being in the same room and hearing the inspirational remarks from these women was empowering. It was an amazing evening and one that I will never forget.

Being part of the Moves Power Women list and gala was such an honor and privilege. It is a wonderful celebration of women who have broken through and made a real difference in their industries, companies and communities. The gala was icing on the cake – meeting all of these women, taking pictures on the red carpet and being able to share my story in front of these incredible role models, colleagues and my family was truly priceless.

It is great to see so many women who make a difference in this world to be put in the spotlight. And what a treat to be included as a European working closely with many American counter parts, Moonah and team made me feel so honored and almost like a star!

The Celebrity posse was blown away by the gorgeous details and flawless execution. Thank you for the recognition and the opportunity to be in the presence of people who are changing the world for the better.

Thank you so much for a brilliant event. The Gala was fantastic and meaningful. I left with new friends a superb network of powerful women.

I wanted to thank you for the beautiful event and for the great honor of including me as one of the Power Women of 2019. I will cherish the memories of the evening – it was magnificent! We were so impressed by the event and each of the women that were part of this “class” of 2019. It is a great motivator for us all to do more to improve the conditions of women around the world.
